We know you are all wishing 2021 would just go away. We can’t make that happen but we can give you a 2022 calendar to look forward to better days.

To order just go to the store tab at the left. If you would like a larger quantity, leave us a message at contact@sagrr.org.

As we continue to navigate the frequent changes recommended to keep our volunteers and the public safe, we are also looking forward to returning to some state of normalcy. Here are our current guidelines.

We are planning to re-open our monthly meet n greets at Petsmarts and Petcos around the Tucson area in September. Volunteers will be following the guidelines set out by the CDC and the stores themselves.

We have returned to doing in-home home visits to those who feel comfortable with that. Volunteers will respect your requests regarding masks and social distancing.

All of our other services, including answering general questions regarding Goldens, helping the public find vets, groomers and trainers and our educational outreach will continue as it has, unchecked.

We have continued throughout the last year and a half to rescue dogs and re-home them as we have always done. Keeping our promise to help these dogs is our number one priority, and we are happy to say that at this point none of our volunteers, fosters or adopters has become ill because of it.

SAGRR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization, whose Mission is to rescue and re-home adoptable Golden Retrievers in Southern Arizona in safe, loving homes; thereby improving the lives of both the dog and the adoptive family.

SAGRR was founded by a group of experienced volunteers in response to our belief that by limiting our territory, we can provide more individualized care to the dogs and families we work with. In addition, we feel this approach promotes a sense of community while helping the local economy.
